Discover how Confluence Amazons is making a difference through our comprehensive community initiatives
Explore Our ProgrammesThe Foundation provides scholarships to indigent pupils in government-owned basic and secondary schools across all zones in Nigeria. Support is strictly for children from low-income families who lack the means to access or continue formal education.
Our Mental Health Support Programme provides counselling, awareness, and community-based interventions to promote emotional well-being and prevent psychological distress. We create safe spaces for individuals facing mental, social, or trauma-related challenges and connect them to the support they need.
The programme targets in-school and out-of-school youths, adolescents, young adults, war victims, and flood victims.
Our Mentorship and Counselling Programme is designed to guide, support, and empower young people through structured mentorship, emotional support, and professional counselling services. We focus on helping youths build confidence, make informed decisions, and overcome personal, social, academic, or emotional challenges.
The programme targets in-school and out-of-school youths, adolescents, young adults, and war victims who need direction, encouragement, and healthy guidance to thrive in life.
Our Entrepreneurship Training Programme equips children, youths, and aspiring young leaders with practical skills to become self-reliant and innovative. The programme focuses on early skill development, creativity, and financial independence through hands-on training and mentorship.
This is achieved through the Amazons Schools Entrepreneurship Clubs, which enable us to "catch them young" from the basic level through secondary school.
The Confluence Amazons Non-Profit Initiative began over a decade ago as an informal effort to support family members and friends in growing their small businesses through financial and moral assistance.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the initiative evolved into a formal and structured programme designed to empower trained individuals who had acquired vocational or business skills but required financial support to start or expand their enterprises.
One of the early beneficiaries of this initiative even before its official launch was Mrs. Ronke Oparinde, who operates at Bwari Law School Road.
The core objective of the programme is to ensure that trained individuals utilize their funds wisely, grow sustainable businesses, and repay the non-profit loan within six months. Beyond financial support, the organization also provides mentorship and close monitoring to ensure lasting success.
Our Pro Bono Legal Services are dedicated to supporting indigent women and children, particularly in cases involving educational rights and domestic violence. This programme ensures access to justice, legal protection, and guidance for vulnerable individuals who cannot afford legal representation.
Our Campaigns Against Drug Abuse focus on raising awareness, preventing substance use, and supporting recovery efforts within communities. We engage schools, families, religious groups, and vulnerable populations through advocacy, sensitisation, and intervention programmes.
Substance and drug abuse prevention is also an integral part of the Confluence Amazons Schools Mental Health Club curriculum. Our Clubs are projected to be established in basic and secondary schools across various communities around the world.
